From the info that I got, this game is the first series from the serial layton which is popular on NDS portable consoles. And of course we will play the role of Professor Layton himself who has the full name of Professor Hershel layton and his protégé who seem to concurrently also be his assistant named Luke Triton. Professor Layton himself was actually not detective, he was an archeologist and also a Porfessor at Gressenhaller University.
